CESARE ALIPPI
Professor of Information Processing Systems
Cesare Alippi received the Dott. Ing. degree in electronic engineering
(summa cum laude) and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering, both from Politecnico
di Milano, Milano, Italy, in 1990 and 1995, respectively. He has
completed research work in computer sciences at the University
College London, London, U.K., and the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, Cambridge.
Currently, he is a Full Professor of Information Processing Systems
at the Politecnico
di Milano.
His research interests include Adaptive Algorithms, Intelligent Embedded Systems and Application-level Analysis and
Synthesis of Embedded Systems. Research activities are carried
out both at academic and industrial level.
Alippi is a Fellow of the IEEE for contributions to robustness and
application-level synthesis of embedded information processing
systems, Associate Editor IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine,
Past-Associate of the IEEE-Transactions on Neural
Networks and editor of the IEEE-Transactions on
Instrumentation and Measurements, member of the administrative committee of the IEEE computational Intelligence Society and of the Board of Directors of the European Neural Network Society (ENNS) 2011-2013 term.
In 2004 he received the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Young Engineer Award.
