Danilo Ardagna

My research work focus on the design, prototype and evaluation of self-management systems for Web service based IT architectures. In particular, my work aims on the design of optimization algorithms for Web services composition and resource management of autonomic computing infrastructures. Recently, I'm focusing on the energy management of virtualized infrastructures (see the GAME-IT project). During my Ph.D. studies I investigated the problem of cost oriented design and capacity planning of distributed IT architectures.
