Davide Barbieri was born in Milan the 8th of April, 1982.
He received the 2nd level degree in Computer Engineering in 2007 and now is a Ph.D. student in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Stefano Ceri.

Research Interests

  • Databases, Data Stream Management Systems
  • Query languages, query execution engines

He's currently working on C-SPARQL, an extension to SPARQL query language for RDF data with aggregation and continuous querying capabilities.
