At the present Filippo Donida is the teaching assistant for the course of "Fondamenti di Automatica" at the Politecnico di Cremona and for the course of "Tecniche e Strumenti di Simulazione" at the Politecnico di Milano. Below there are paragraphs for both the courses, where students can download some useful material. From 2006 up to now Filippo Donida participated in many thesis projects, at the end of the page there's a list of the most important works.

Fondamenti di Automatica - Politecnico di Cremona

Wed, 12 Nov 2008

Here you can download an extremely simple Scilab script to visualize the time response of a transfer function for different input signals (simply open it using the Scilab editor and CTRL+L or copy and paste into the Scilab shell and the press enter).
Here you can find a SageMath minimal howto to compute Laplace transforms and inverse Laplace transforms.

Wed, 06 Dec 2006

Here it is possible to download a semilogarithmic sheet with a phase measurement tool.

Wed, 06 Dec 2006

Here it is possible to find the useful Scilab command-line instructions.

Wed, 16 Jan 2008

Here it's possible to download a triavial example for the calculus of both the Bode and Nyquist plots, using Scilab.

Tecniche e Strumenti di Simulazione - Politecnico di Milano

Sat, 02 Dec 2006

Here it is possible to download ".rar" version of the V lesson.

Undergraduate thesis' projects

Wed, 27 Sep 2006

"Implementazione di un algoritmo di inversione cinematica per robot in ambiente Dymola"

Authors:
- Stefano Marini
- Federico Perego
Advisor: Prof. Gianni Ferretti

The project is focused on implementing both direct and inverse transformation functions for a 3d robot with six degree of freedom. The package has been developed using the Modelica language, within Dymola environment. The model has been tested using the Dymola Robot Example.

Wed, 27 Sep 2006

"Modellazione e simulazione di un motore elettrico trifase brushless in ambiente Openmodelica"

Authors:
- Christian Brignani
- Andrea Palomba
Advisor: Prof. Gianni Ferretti

This is the model of a brushless tri-phase electrical motor with vectorial current control (Park transform) and speed regulation loop. The project has been developed using the Modelica language and Openmodelica environment.

Graduate (master degree) thesis' projects

Fri, 20 Apr 2007

Progetto di algoritmi di stima del carico sbilanciato in una lavatrice

Authors:
- Fabio Floreani
- Marco Venturini
Advisor: Prof. Gianni Ferretti
Co-advisor: Ing. Filippo Donida

This is a model for the dynamic simulation of a home washer developed in Modelica, within the Dymola environment. The model is tailored to be employed for analysis, synthesis, test and validation of control systems of washing dynamics. In particular the project target is to model a whirlpool washer and estimate an unbalanced load within the drum of the washer.

Programmzione interattiva dei robot basata su misure di forza all'end-effector

Authors:
- Mario Garbelli
- Luca Manara
Advisor: Prof. Gianni Ferretti
Co-advisor: Prof. GianAntonio Magnani - Prof. Paolo Rocco

This project is finalized to realize a force feedback control on Comau Robot. A Comau robot simulator has been developed using the open-source language Modelica to test the force feed-back control, then the control has been implemented and the tested on the real robot.

"Object-oriented first-priciple models for condensing dryer simulation and control."

Authors:
- Marco De Agostini
- Lorena Ferla
Advisor: Prof. Alberto Leva
Co-advisor: Senior Eng. Francesco Jatta

The goal of this work has been to models the thermo-hydraulic phenomena of a home dryer model. The machine model has been implemented for simulation by using the object-oriented modeling language Modelica and the ThermoPower Modelica library.
