A couple of nice pictures ...

... just to show what I do mean when talking about mountain trekking.

The sunrise as seen from the Rifugio Calvi - 2020 mt. - Northern side of Bergamo province (Sun, 05/14/00, h. 7:32)

The sunrise taken from the Refuge F.lli Calvi (2015 m.)
in the territory of Carona, Northern Brembana Valley,
in the province of Bergamo.

The central mountain top is the Peak of the Devil (2916 m.)
At the bottom of the picture we can admire the Lake Rotondo almost completely frozen, and padded with ice blocks.

Standing around the peak legend pad out of a Pre-Alps Refuge,
with the friends of Politecnico of Milano.

Or, how rain and clouds
can even turn pleasant provided the environment
is the right one.

In the proximity of Calvi Refuge, towards the Fregabolgia Lake (Sep 1999)

Also visit the beautiful Dolomiti's landscapes, the endless wonders of the Stelvio National Park in Northern Lombardy, and the massifs and valleys of the Orobie Pre-Alps (my zone of birth). Have a nice net-surfing!
