· March-Sept 2005, visiting researcher at Signals and Systems , Uppsala University (UU, Sweden).

· July-Sept 2007, visiting researcher at Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of California San Diego (UCSD, CA, US)

· March 2008, PhD degree (with honors) in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Politecnico di Milano.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

Signal processing aspects of wireless communications systems, antenna array processing, channel estimation and tracking, MIMO-OFDM systems, cooperative communication, relay channels, ad-hoc networking and wireless sensor networks.

Wireless Geophysics: (see the new website Wireless Geophone Networks), a new paradigm for seismic exploration, see also ref. [A5].
