Personal research projects

• ULIS²E, a network based unsupervised IDS based on a novel two-tier architecture to improve tha analysis of network packets.
• S²A²DE, a host based unsupervised IDS based on system call arguments and sequences. It implements a set of anomaly detection models for the call parameters, a clustering mechanism to improve model fitting and create inter-relationships among them, and a Markov model to capture sequence relationships and anomalies.
